I hope this finds you all rejoicing in the ways of the LORD! 
These are some items that have changed since the newsletter and some items I forgot to put in the newsletter and a couple of reminders!

 Tea Party Time for Young ladies between 13 and 18 on January 18th has been cancelled due to a surgery for JJ.

Classical Conversations Information Meeting for Newman Lake, Otis Orchard, and Liberty Lake areas:  If you are interested in homeshcooling classicly and would like more information on how to accomplish this or would just like support, we are having an information meeting on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 at Word of Life Community Church, 6703 N. Idaho RD, Newman Lake, WA from 2:30p to 4:30p.  We will follow up with an OPEN HOUSE of our Classical Conversations Community where families who are interested can come, see and participate in what we are doing.  The open house will be on Monday, January 14, 2013 and will also be at Word of Life.  Please RSVP for the open house so we can make sure we have enough supplies for those participating.(RSVP to Sherlyn Cevera @ [email protected] or call 509-226-2414).  We look forward to meeting you!

Chess Club 2013 by Jeanine Ockey-Webb
Come play chess and enjoy some fun fellowship! All experience levels and ages welcome. Our next chess club meeting is Wednesday, January 9th, 2:00 pm at the Ockey-Webb home, 3222 S Glenn Ct. Spokane Valley (32nd and University). Call Jeanine if you need directions, 891-2254. Hope to see you there!

Home Schooling Qualifying Course:  Parent Education with Community Colleges of Spokane sponsors a Home Schooling class.
The dates for the next 24 hour course will be:
January 28-31, 2013 Mon through Thurs 9-4pm.
This class will take place at the Magnuson Building:
2917 W. Fort George Wright Dr. Room 103

Mom's Night Out Come and join us for a fun and encouraging evening of fellowship just for moms on Thursday, January 17th, at 7:00 pm at Liferoads Church. This month we are going to talk about how we can beat the winter blues.  This will be a great evening to relax with friends and be encouraged on your homeschooling journey.
