Family Activities
By Marchauna Rodgers
CFHE wants to provide more family activities for you. However, we need ideas and people to help make those dreams a reality. If you have a suggestion for a family-friendly activity you want to do with other home schoolers, or if you want to be part of the CFHE Family Activities Design Team, please e-mail Marchauna with “families” in the subject line.

CFHE Prayer Team
By Marchauna Rodgers
In a culture increasingly hostile towards traditional values, biblical principles, and the God who established them, those who stand for the family are under intense attack. The board members for CFHE are no exception. They need our help, like Aaron holding Moses’ arms up during battle. Our board members need us to come alongside and pray for them on a regular basis. If you are willing to stand in the gap for those who are standing up for you, by praying for specific needs for members of the CFHE board, as well as occasional general homeschooling requests, please send your e-mail address to Marchauna.

Activity Statement
As a Christian home school group, we do not directly sponsor activities, classes, etc. that violate what we feel are basic Christian principles. However, when CFHE ventures out into the secular realm either for field trips or any other outside activity not under our direct control, we make no claims of suitability for your family.
Of course, CFHE only offers activities that we believe would be acceptable to most members of our group. Our intention is not to offend anyone and certainly not to do anything that would dishonor the Lord, but in a group as large and diverse as CFHE, it would be impossible for any one person to be the "conscience" of the entire organization.
In addition, CFHE does not take responsibility for the safety of your children during any CFHE activity or during transportation to or from any CFHE activity. We are not a school; we are a group of individual parents who voluntarily get together to provide educational opportunities for our children and as such, each family is responsible for the safety of its own children at all times.
We will continue to provide the activities and attempt to give you enough objective information to help you make good decisions for your children.
