PATRICK NURRE - GEOLOGY BY NORTHWEST TREASURES
In the second grade Patrick made his first big find – a large dinosaur bone in the alley behind his house! That was the beginning of a love for geology. Raised in beautiful Montana, he spent many days rockhounding near the Big Horn River. This early interest led him to a lifelong study of the world of geology. Patrick was trained in secular geology, but after becoming a Christian, he began to seriously reevaluate his previous evolutionary beliefs, and became, instead, a young-earth creationist.
Today, Patrick conducts geology classes (PreK-12) and seminars in the Seattle area and speaks at numerous home school and church conventions on geology and our young earth. He also leads a variety of geology field trips every year, including Yellowstone Park, where he helps families discover the Biblical geology of the Park.
Patrick is the vision behind Northwest Treasures, a 501(c)3 corporation, devoted to creating excellent geology kits, curricula and education for all ages. To help in this endeavor, Patrick has written 17 books on geology, for all ages. He is certified as a Biblical Creation Ministry Professional. In addition, he draws on over 40 years of pastoring experience. Patrick and his wife, Vicki, have three wonderful children and two grandchildren, and live near Yakima, Washington. northwestrockandfossil.com/

EZRA & VICTORIA-JOY CREIGHTON & The TEAM at: - KIDONE CAMPS
The world is full of questions. Where did people come from? Why is there suffering in the world? What is my purpose in life? How am I supposed to live? Is there really a God? The kids growing up in this world have many questions. Today, we are seeing young people leave the Church all because, as children, they were not given the answers to the many questions they have. They don’t understand what they believe. They don’t understand how God’s Word is relevant to their life. But the Bible, God’s Word, gives us the answers.
It is our mission at KidONE Camps to answer those questions. We are a Christian organization and base everything we do on God's Word. We answer every question with God’s Word. It is our vision for all children to have a solid foundation on God’s Word and answers to the questions of life. We invest in them because they will be the leaders of the next generation. They can make a difference in the world, and we want them to make that difference. This is not a job to us, it’s our purpose. This is our calling.

RICK TURNER (aka Radical Rick) - EXTREME SCIENCE
Radical Rick has provided hands-on science programs to children in the Inland Empire since September 2000. After working at Hewlett Packard for twenty years, Rick realized that it was time to do something that he REALLY enjoyed – working with kids, making slime, shooting off rockets and, most importantly, blowing stuff up! No, seriously, he LOVES blowing stuff up! It should be noted that safety is top priority! While Rick enjoys introducing children to the incredible world around us through fun and exciting science demonstrations, his number one rule is always “Safety first.” Rick is the owner of Extreme Science. Extreme Science provides hands-on after school science programs to local elementary students as well as in-class field trips and, according to many principals and students, the best assemblies ever! You can see Radical Rick almost every Saturday morning on KHQ, channel 6 during their morning news broadcast. Or, better yet, you can register for his new online science club on his website at www.ExtremeScienceFun.com

Join Radical Rick in this fun filled class that is designed to get you to question everything. Radical Rick will challenge the audience to figure out the science behind each ILLUSION that some like to call magic. Science is all about asking questions to obtain knowledge and answers to the things we don't understand. What better way to do that than to dive into these magic "tricks" that are designed to fool us into believing something that is not real.
EXTREME Science Show Come join the fun as Radical Rick, from KHQ's Saturday morning wakeup show, demonstrates how much fun science really is. As always, Radical Rick has some awesome demonstrations to help us better understand Newton's laws of motion, gravity and centrifugal force! Word has it that he will also be bringing some liquid nitrogen! You won't want to miss this finale to the show.

Workshops (12+Teens) Bioluminescence, Metamorphosis & Spiritual Insights God gave the ability to produce their own light to at least 19 different types of creatures from slimy gnat larvae that cling to the roof of caves to mushrooms, bearded marine fire worms, rock boring clams, squid, flying beetles and bioluminescent plankton that light up tropical shorelines. An insurmountable number of unique chemicals and structures would all have to evolve in the same creature if bioluminescence arose through evolution. We will also look at the amazing changes in several creatures before and after metamorphosis. The amazing changes not only give an illustration of being born again, but also of wonders we have to look forward to with our resurrection bodies.
Biological Reasons Why Evolution is IMPOSSIBLE Learn about the source of genetic information; the 2000 different types of proteins necessary for the smallest "simplest" cell (which don't form in nature except when intentionally produced by living things) and other examples of irreducible complexity.
